City Metro Transit Police Created

In 2025 City Metro created the City Metro Transit Police Department to replace the Transit Services Divisons of both LCPD and LCSD. As of January 1st, 2026, we're proud to annouce that City Metro trains and buses will be fully patroled by this independent law enforcement agency. City Metrolink Expansion to FLX

City Metro is proud to annouce that the extension of Commuter Rail to the Airport Metro Transit Center has officialy been completed. Starting January 15th, 2026, City Metrolink, City Metro-North Railroad, and other commuter rail services will begin operating to the Airport Metro Transit Center. With this change, the K Line will stop operating to the Airport starting 2/1/26. Visit citymetro.xyz for more info.
